Garden visiting and afternoon tea must be one of the most quintessentially English activities on offer during our summers and once again Pauline and Bob Homeshaw are inviting you to their two acre hillside garden at Burges Meadow, Maundown, Wiveliscombe TA4 2HL.
The garden includes over 100 varieties of trees and shrubs, streams and ponds, an extensive glasshouse and flower borders of hardy perennials. There will also be stalls selling plants, gifts, crafts and of course – tea!
Burges Meadow is open on Bank Holiday Monday 28th May from 2 – 6pm in aid of SSAFA. Entrance is £4, with no charge for school aged children.The garden has limited wheelchair access and there is ample car parking. Please, no dogs other than assistance dogs.
